Resolution to Amend the Budget and Appropriate Funding for Interim Salary Adjustments for Public Safety Employees

The Sheriff has previously provided information relative to ongoing challenges in recruiting and retaining employees in public safety.  

 At its regular meeting on February 17, 2021, the Board adopted a motion to grant a 7% salary increase to sworn law enforcement employees including Captains and below, Fire Medics including Captains and below, Animal Control Officers, and E911 Dispatchers, effective March 1, 2022.

The E911 Budget is increasing by $21,265 which will impact the Town contributions.

Adoption of the attached resolution will increase the FY 2021-22 General Fund budget by $110,462 and E911 budget by $21,265.
